We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team supporting both software engineering and production application support functions within a regulated, high-availability environment.
This role suits someone who is hands-on, technically curious, and comfortable explaining the reasoning behind design and implementation decisions.
Design, build, and support production-grade Azure infrastructure
Deliver work in a ticket-driven environment (e.g. Jira)
Balance project delivery with incident analysis, investigation, and resolution
Participate in a team-based operating model with shared ownership of outcomes
After probation, take part in an on-call rota (evenings and weekends, on a rotating basis)
3–5 years’ experience as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Strong Azure IaaS experience, including:
Virtual Machines
Virtual Networks
Load Balancers
Networking, security, and availability concepts
Solid Azure PaaS experience, including:
Kubernetes
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Experience supporting multi-tier web applications (Web / App / Database)
Strong operational mindset with experience using monitoring, diagnostics, and metrics to resolve production issues
Confident using PowerShell and understands the scripts they write or run (not reliant on opaque, copy-paste solutions)
Someone who can clearly articulate technical decisions in an interview
Hands-on experience building and supporting production Azure environments
A pragmatic engineer who collaborates well and contributes to team discussions
Proven experience resolving live system issues and explaining the tools and diagnostic approach used
